The Big Bend Falls trail is a difficult 3.4-mile trail to view this impressive 30-foot waterfall on the Chattooga River. The short spur trail to get close to the falls is tough to get through and requires some work, but the view is worth it.

The Big Bend Trail heading down towards the river
As the trail gets closer to the river, the trailside has a few boulders on the opposite side
While searching for the spur trail, I saw a few smaller cascades
While deciding how to go about finding the falls, I sat on a rocky point
It was nice sitting on the rocks watching the river
After I finally made it to the falls, I took a lot of pictures
To the right, the river approaches the falls
Another view of the falls
To the left, you can look down and see the base of the falls, where the water churns
As the water hits the river at the base, it gets very active
