This trail is a short two mile loop trail in the Daniel Boone National Forest that leads to a lovely natural arch that is the result of erosion. It is a similar formation to that found on the Natural Bridge Trail or the Twin Arches Trail.
This is a view from an overlook at the Natural Arch Scenic Area The trail winds in and around eroded rock structures. Erosion leaves its imprint in many of the rocks on the trail. The natural arch itself is an impressive sight... ...from any angle. One end of the natural arch serves as a rock overhang. I sat under the arch and read and took pictures. The trail out from the arch was decorated with intricate erosion patterns. More erosion Even more erosion Last shot for the trail
