These photos are from a second trip along the East Fork Trail.

The trail follows the East Fork of the Chattooga River.
The patterns of light on the water provided wonderful colors.
The side of the water was starting to develop its foliage in the early spring.
Beautiful curved patterns in the knots of a tree
Large boulders along the trail provided a canvas for the moss.
Staring down the barrel of a dead tree
It was still early March, so one could still see through the trees and enjoy the surrounding mountains.
Due to time constraints, I only made it along the trail to this series of cascades.
Just another view from the cascades.
