When the Institute for African American Studies celebrated its 40 year anniversary in 2011, they wanted to update their website. The Web Services team took on this task, and the current site is the result of the design I created for them. The site is centered around three major aspects of their work: Research, Students, and Community. In order to provide original photography that represented the diversity of their students, we arranged a photo shoot with some of their students, in which I took a number of shots, many of which made it into the final site.
