These pictures were taken during a return to the Raven Rock Trail around Jocassee Gorge.

The trail has a beautiful start, even if it seemed different this time.
Ferns bordered much of the trail.
The top of this dead tree has a fascinating crown.
The trail goes down to the shore of Lake Jocassee.
These stones provide stairs up the hill from the shore.
A boulder provides a great view of the lake from above.
This boulder was next to the one providing my aerial view of the lake.
One more picture of the lake before I head off back to the trail.
Finally, a look at the green of summer before autumn starts to kick in.
