These pictures are from a winter trip to Station Cove Falls, one of the trails at the Oconee Station State Historic Site.

This fence marked an observation point of the creek that runs alongside the trail.
The trail leads from the observation point to the falls.
There was still some snow left from recent days, as shown by these patches in the shadows of one of the many wooden bridges on the trail.
This knotted old trunk is a very complex landmark by the side of the trail.
The creek at this point was very still, almost glass.
Fungi! Fungi for the queen!
This tree grows right near the base of the waterfall.
The base of the waterfall has many different cascades.
From below, the waterfall flows over the rocks at the top.
The waterfall flows over many tiers.
This is a view of the creek from the base of the waterfall.
This large mossy rock sits near the base of the falls.
