These are just a few pictures from when I couldn't go for a hike, due to rain or crowds.

The rain ensured that the Smokies lived up to their name.
There was a little color starting to appear as autumn started up.
I stopped at a few of the observational areas, and took pictures in between downpours.
I took a quick walk on one of the side paths and found this little set of rapids.
The trail continued on the other side of the creek.
Sometimes, I was able to get a picture from the car window, to keep the rain off.
This tunnel is a fairly popular photographic subject, rain or no.
